So, I just upgraded from my Macbook to a new Macbook Pro. Pretty happy about that, but not so happy as EXCITED. I got it off craigslist for pretty cheap (liar.) But I am justifying it by thinking about how I won’t have paid too much after selling the Macbook and my Pc. I had the Pc for games, mainly. But now, thanks to Boot Camp, I can run Windows on my Mac without any emulation. I didn’t believe it would be fast enough to run games, until today. Dang. I’m actually running the hardest game to support right now, Crysis. This game is so graphics heavy, you basically have to run a machine with 2 graphics cards to support it. Granted, I’m running it on low to medium settings, but it looks pretty good. But I loaded up Bioshock and daaaaaang it looks nice. So I’m excited to play Pc games on my Mac, which makes me a pretty big geek. Gaming is super fun.
Speaking of school, wait>? School? Oh yeah! I’m in school!! I better do some freakin’
homework! Tomorrow is going to suck. I’m still getting along pretty well in my classes, despite some health crap and my new toys.
I also got me an iPhone:) Pretty great. Imagine having the two best toys in the world. That’s how I feel. I feel selfish and wrong about it but at the same time I feel AWESOME and RIGHT about it. But it’s wrong. Don’t let anyone tell you different. You should save your money and maybe splurge once in a while to buy your girlfriend flowers and maybe yourself a bigger spoon to FUCKING GAG ME WITH. I love the the MacBook Pro and the iPhone!
So I have hacked the ever living shit out of the iPhone, like any nOOB does, and customized the crap out of every little part. I’ve put some super fun games on there, not to mention NES games and GBA roms, etc. But also games that only an iphone could really support, such as labyrinth, the marble/maze game with holes everywhere that people made out of a marble and wood back in the day. The object is, you just play with the phone until your homework suffers and your girlfriend wishes you were normal again.
But, on the stupider side of things, I actually donated $10 to hopefully aid in the development of a rather exciting application, in beta currently, called mpc500. The MPC 500 is a wonderful drum machine made by AKAI, makers of all the MPC line drum machines. These things are responsible for somewhere around 50% of all hip-hop/electronic music out there. Really great thing to port to the iPhone! Which is what these guys are doing. So, lets hope they’re really doing it! I just realized how great of a scam something like this would be, posting some really great pics of a mock-up app and asking for donations. Wow. Sucker born every minute.
Anyways, I’ve been having lots of fun hanging at the Backspace Cafe downtown with the MacGeeks, showing off and talking shit, just sorta wearing the little Portland path for myself slowly, and trying to maintain in my own way. My friends here are great, and I’m feeling pretty good lately. Also, for those of you who know I’ve been having some health problems, I found out yesterday that I am doing fine. Good to hear. In short, doctors suck ass.

Dude, sell me your MacBook. If you still have it. By the way, I moved to the other Portland. Funny. ha HA!
